What do two winter storms within two weeks of each other in Atlanta mean? As soon as it warms up for a few days the deciduous magnolias will start blooming. Now is the time to plant these magnificent trees and enjoy their late winter display in your garden. They are a sure signal spring is right around the corner. Brighten your garden with white (Magnolia stellata 'Royal Star' and Magnolia x loebneri 'Merrill'), pink (Magnolia x loebneri 'Leonard Messel'), and yellow (Magnolia acuminata 'Yellow Bird').
